Katy brings more than 15 years of experience in coaching, higher education, and post‑secondary student support to her role as Program Director and Senior Coach. Before joining Thrive Beyond Therapy, she spent a decade working at a trade school contracted with Job Corps, where she supported students from rural communities, inner‑city neighborhoods, and refugee backgrounds. This work shaped her belief that every individual, regardless of background, history, or circumstance, deserves personalized, strengths‑based support.

Katy’s lived experience is a core part of her leadership. She navigated the profound loss of both parents at a young age and completed high school while in residential treatment, an experience that shaped her deep understanding of trauma, resilience, and the support people need to move forward. She went on to earn her MBA and build a career dedicated to helping others access the opportunities she fought hard to create for herself. Katy understands trauma, treatment, and healing from both the client and professional perspectives.

As Program Director, Katy oversees coach training, program quality, and client progress, ensuring that every individual receives consistent, personalized, and goal‑aligned support. She collaborates closely with families, identifies gaps in programming, and supports coaches through supervision, call reviews, and ongoing development. Known for her adaptability, calm presence, and ability to connect with diverse learners, Katy is passionate about helping clients overcome academic, behavioral, and social barriers so they can build confidence and independence.

Katy loves traveling, cooking, staying active, and exploring new interests - from fashion to comic books and even video games.
